Job Summary

As an Optical Sales Professional at EssilorLuxottica, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. You will be responsible for cultivating existing customer relationships, building new ones, and providing expert advice on eyewear and vision care solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives through effective customer engagement and relationship-building.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring customers receive the best possible vision solutions.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, providing personalized recommendations to meet their unique needs.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are attractive and well-presented.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to sell through effective use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and self-motivation, with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
