We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide support to our young patients. The focus will be on addressing challenges related to speech and communication, as well as delivering rehabilitative services for clients experiencing language disorders, swallowing difficulties, or similar issues.

- Employment Type: Full-Time/PRN: $29-40 per visit
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the treatment plans developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, focusing on speech and communication challenges.
- Work under the guidance of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
- Deliver speech and language services in accordance with the prescribed plan of care, ensuring safety and effectiveness in the home environment.
- Monitor and document any changes in the client's condition, promptly reporting significant observations to the supervising speech-language pathologist.
- Engage in discussions with the supervising speech-language pathologist regarding any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.
- Implement modifications to the care plan as directed by the supervising speech-language pathologist and authorized by the physician.
- Collaborate with the supervising speech-language pathologist to assess the client's progress and response to therapy.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited speech and audiology program is required.
- Possession of a current license as a speech-language assistant, including maintenance of observation and supervision records.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English is essential.
- A valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance are mandatory.
- Annual TB screening is required.
- Current certification in basic life support (CPR) is necessary.
- Proficient computer skills for document preparation are required, with a preference for familiarity with MS Office.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and moving objects as needed.
