Key Responsibilities:
The following outlines the essential functions of this position, though additional duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Assess project needs for new developments, repairs, and modifications, integrating them into the appropriate management systems.
- Analyze major equipment and systems to evaluate their condition and remaining operational lifespan.
- Provide detailed project scope information for review prior to submission to relevant management.
- Collaborate with headquarters and regional teams to formulate a comprehensive five-year maintenance strategy, incorporating local and special projects.
- Draft statements of work, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for project inclusion in work induction processes.
- Establish requirements for formal statements of work and independent government estimates, ensuring accuracy before submission.
- Conduct regular assessments of facilities to offer technical guidance and support preventive maintenance oversight.
- Assist in researching potential solutions for facility-related challenges and recommend necessary actions or equipment purchases.
- Support various departments and authorized personnel in accessing construction documents and specifications promptly.
- Contribute to a facilities administration program that adapts procedures for property management and utility systems.
- Act as a property manager, with responsibilities that may require travel to various sites.
- Coordinate with local public works and relevant entities regarding facility and utility system requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between supported activities and management.
- Gather and analyze utility consumption data as required.
- Document and track all facility-related work requests within the management system.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess specialized experience in managing maintenance programs for various facilities, including offices, hospitals, and specialized installations. A strong understanding of facility management systems is essential.
Education & Experience:
A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience is required. Candidates with advanced degrees or equivalent experience in project management or related fields are preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens capable of obtaining necessary security clearances.
Physical Requirements:
The candidate should be able to meet the following physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation:
