Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Tech to join our Cath Lab team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our team, you will assist physicians with all cases performed in the cardiac cath/EP lab, including standard coronary angiography, coronary interventions, and EP cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate room turnover and setup for all cases in the cath lab using sterile technique.
  • Provide side-by-side support to physicians during cases.
  • Monitor cases appropriately using the EMR and hemodynamic system.
  • Assess and maintain necessary supplies for different cases performed and communicate with the lead RT or materials management when items need to be ordered.
  • Capture and enter appropriate charges for each case.
  • Reconcile billing for historical cases.
  • Assist other team members to facilitate daily workflow for the day, which may include patient transport and other necessary duties.

Requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • 0-2 years of experience required.
  • BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and IEMA certifications required.
  • RCIS/RCES certification preferred.
