Job Summary

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Tech at AdventHealth, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with various cases performed in the cardiac cath/EP lab. Your expertise will be essential in setting up, scrubbing into, monitoring, and assisting with all cases, including standard coronary angiography, coronary interventions, EP cases, and vascular cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate room turnover and setup for all cases in the cath lab using sterile technique
  • Provide side-by-side support to physicians during cases
  • Monitor cases appropriately using the EMR and hemodynamic system
  • Assess and maintain necessary supplies for different cases and communicate with the lead RT or materials management when items need to be ordered
  • Capture and enter appropriate charges for each case
  • Reconcile billing for historical cases
  • Assist other team members to facilitate daily workflow, including patient transport and other necessary duties


Requirements

This role requires a strong understanding of angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures, and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration. You will also need to adhere to guidelines and standards of professional practice associations and actively participate in outstanding customer service.
