Role Overview

The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial documentation related to vehicle transactions. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial processes and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review contracts to ensure adherence to specified standards.
  • Verify that all documentation and deal jackets comply with company guidelines.
  • Assess all transactions in the deal queue for discrepancies.
  • Confirm that all necessary documents are signed and completed correctly.
  • Process financial paperwork efficiently and accurately.
  • Reconcile financial schedules as required.
  • Record new and used vehicle transactions in the accounting system.
  • Issue payments for lien settlements and coordinate with financial institutions.
  • Communicate effectively with the Accounting Manager to resolve any issues.
  • Make necessary corrections to records on a daily basis.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
  • Understand and prioritize deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Previous experience in automotive accounting or familiarity with CDK systems is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a fast-paced office environment is required.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and open office environment is necessary.
  • Candidates must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings is required.
