Responsibilities

Team Rehabilitation is in search of a friendly and dynamic individual to serve as the crucial first point of contact within our clinic. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy towards patient conditions and be dedicated to assisting, accommodating, and supporting patients in their therapy journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients warmly and verify appointments while assisting with necessary paperwork.
  • Facilitate comprehensive communication among patients, physicians, staff members, and anyone involved in the patient's care, including follow-ups as needed.
  • Manage complex scheduling to ensure all patients receive the appropriate number of visits, coordinating with Physical Therapists and other staff as necessary.
  • Assist patients with inquiries related to insurance, verifying and explaining benefits, and tracking required authorizations.
  • Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical and billing record system, including billing updates, and follow up for additional information when required.
  • Collect copayments and process them accurately and professionally, issuing receipts and handling billing-related tasks.
  • Input data from in-house research accurately, as this information is vital for assessing clinic performance.
  • Support clinic performance by preparing management information, inputting data from research, and assisting with the maintenance of clinic supplies and equipment.
  • Respect patient privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies.

Additional Tasks: The Patient Administrative Coordinator must effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment while managing daily reports and responsibilities. This role reports to the clinic director and may involve additional tasks as assigned by the clinic director.



Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a patient-centered healthcare role is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Experience in customer service roles is also advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Basic computer skills are required
