Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our team in the Department of Psychiatry. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with staff, and contribute to the development of our psychiatric services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and restraints as required for inpatient patients.
  • Document patient care, including chart notes and completion of required forms.
  • Provide additional coverage for hospital contracts, including face-to-face services.
  • Respond to calls within 15 minutes and provide clinical care within one hour of being called for restraints, sentinel events, or near-misses.
  • Stay up-to-date with agency, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Submit accurate billing information.
Requirements
  • One year of experience as a practicing APN.
  • Unrestricted licensure as an APN with the State of New Jersey, including a current CDS and DEA.
