The award-winning Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is seeking a skilled Steward to join its Food and Beverage Team.

Located in a beautiful coastal setting, this resort offers a unique blend of luxury and relaxation. As a Steward, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the resort's food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport and clean cooking utensils and serviceware to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils.
  • Scrub pots and pans to ensure they are spotless.
  • Burnish, de-tarnish, and polish silverware to maintain its shine.
  • Stock and maintain supplies and equipment to ensure seamless service.
  • Perform cleaning duties, including mopping and removing trash, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Transport and store clean serviceware to ensure it is readily available for use.
  • Train other stewards as needed to ensure a high level of service.
  • Prepare and place clean serviceware for events and functions to ensure a seamless experience.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to ensure seamless service.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as pots and pans, to ensure efficient service.
  • Attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, to meet the needs of the resort.
