Role Responsibilities:

Medical Lab Technicians and Technologists are responsible for conducting laboratory and phlebotomy tests that support our clinical services. They possess a deep understanding of the clinical implications of lab results and are skilled in operating advanced laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results.

Key Duties Include:

  • Adhering to established safety protocols, including Universal Precautions and proper use of safety gear.
  • Performing routine and specialized maintenance on laboratory instruments.
  • Providing training on laboratory techniques to fellow Technologists and Technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists is required.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
