Job Summary

Eliot is seeking a highly skilled Shift Administrator to join our team in working with youthful offenders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of issues related to trauma, gang issues, violence, poverty, and family dysfunction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate residential programming, ensuring adherence to program contracts, DYS, DEEC, and Eliot's policies and procedures.
  • Commit to the principles of Positive Youth Development and Trauma-Informed Care, and become trained in relevant models and interventions.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining assigned staff, as well as providing in-shift training, modeling, coaching, and feedback.
  • Facilitate and attend meetings associated with program operation, including administrative, staff, shift change, and treatment team meetings.
  • Develop and maintain positive, productive working relationships with funding and licensing sources.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience working with youthful offenders.
  • Active knowledge of issues related to trauma, gang issues, violence, poverty, and family dysfunction.
  • Experience with regulations regarding clinical and behavioral treatment is a plus.
