We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team at Qonten. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive first impression of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Act as a central point of contact for patients and referring providers, ensuring that all necessary information is communicated effectively.
- Deliver excellent customer service by contacting patients to inform them of authorization delays and answering all their questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor team time and attendance according to policy, ensuring that all staff members are meeting their productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Consumer Access Supervisor to direct and manage staff in performing Consumer Access related activities.
Requirements:
- One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Associate degree and/or 2 years minimum data entry/customer service experience.
