About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our General Float Pool team at SCL Health. As a General Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of medical-surgical, orthopedic, telemetry, intermediate care/observation, inpatient hospice, and adult psychiatric units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, recognizing and addressing patients' psychological and physical needs
  • Foster continuity and quality of care, prioritizing the best interest and well-being of patients and their families
  • Assess patients' medical status upon admission and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
  • Oversee care delivered by licensed practical nurses and/or certified nursing assistants
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program, with the ability to obtain a Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program within four years of hire, unless you possess a minimum of 15 years of proven continuous registered nurse experience in an acute care setting
  • Current Colorado RN license or compact license, with the ability to obtain a Colorado RN license
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience in an acute care inpatient setting
