We recognize the vital role of our Certified Nursing Assistants and are committed to ensuring they practice at the highest level of their licensure to maximize their skills and experience. We have also established a career pathway framework for CNAs, outlining opportunities for advancement into nursing and other roles. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide both direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Schedule: Full-Time Days

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Preferred: Six months of prior CNA experience
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Preferred: Previous customer service experience
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program required
  • State certification as a CNA required
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred; required if involved with M-1 holds

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - (Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly)

At St. Anthony North Hospital, recognized as a Magnet designated facility, the 3 North department is a specialized Cardiac/Medical unit. This unit features 18 beds with an average daily patient census of 12-16. We care for patients experiencing chest pain, STEMI, NSTEMI, congestive heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and various other medical conditions. Our unit is equipped to manage non-titratable cardiac drips and typically admits patients from the Cath lab following procedures such as cardiac or peripheral stent placements, pacemaker insertions, and cardioversions. Our team emphasizes collaboration and teamwork, offering numerous opportunities for professional development and diverse nursing experiences due to our expanding cardiac service line and varied patient population.
