Job Summary

We're seeking a Small Format Team Member to join our team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in our smallest format stores. As a key member of our team, you'll be proficient in all areas of the store, including cashiering, stocking, presentation, and price accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming experience for guests by authentically greeting and engaging with them.
  • Observe and respond to guest needs, using body language and verbal cues to tailor your approach.
  • Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experiences.
  • Thank guests in a genuine way and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.
  • Help guests as you complete workload with minimal disruption.
  • Work in all departments to ensure sales floors are full, zoned, and in stock for guests.
  • Push and stock product to sales floors, execute adjacency changes, and conduct weekly price change workload.
  • Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Support execution of major transitions and ISM, maintain interior and exterior brand, and attend to spills throughout the store.
  • Accurately execute all pulls and backstock product from all departments, process inbound deliveries, and complete backroom daily and weekly audits.
  • Operate power equipment only if certified, maintain backroom organization, and follow equipment guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, and work in a safe manner at all times.
Requirements
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
  • Work both independently and with a team, resolving guest questions quickly on the spot.
  • Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process, remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accurately handle cash register operations, climb up and down ladders, and scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
  • Flexible work schedule, reliable and prompt attendance necessary, and capable of working in varying temperatures and other elements.
