Satellite Test Manager

The Microsat Test Manager is a critical role within our team, responsible for overseeing the integration and test of spacecraft systems. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the integration and test of spacecraft systems, ensuring compliance with engineering principles and practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop and implement test procedures, using a variety of testing equipment and methodologies to support verification and validation of systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
- 7+ years of experience in Test Engineering or a related field, with a strong background in spacecraft level system integration and test.
- Experience managing a team of engineers, with a proven track record of leadership and mentorship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
This role operates in a professional office environment, with occasional travel to manufacturing facilities and other company locations. The physical demands of this position include sitting for long periods, with occasional standing, bending, and walking. The ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds is required, with occasional lifting or moving of objects up to 25 pounds.
