Radiologic Technologist CT Scanner Specialist

At Atrium Health, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care. As a CT Technologist, you'll be responsible for operating CT scanners and associated equipment with high proficiency.
About the Role:
- You will prepare patients for procedures, explain their involvement, and document patient information.
- Review medical history and correlate test results with exams performed.
- Evaluate image quality and consult Radiologists as needed.
- Assist in medical emergencies and code blue procedures.
- Perform invasive procedures and obtain medication as directed.
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintain knowledge on infection control procedures.
- Operate radiology computer systems and document contrast administration.
- Collaborate with other medical personnel and maintain a stocked area.
Requirements:
- A graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire.
- Current CPR certification.
Compensation and Benefits: The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
