Role Responsibilities

Location: Houston Showroom, Standard Work Hours

The Design team is responsible for creating functional work environments that meet client specifications, budget constraints, and spatial requirements by:

  • Engaging with Project Consultants and prospective clients to assess their upcoming projects and identify their specific needs, budgetary constraints, employee numbers, and spatial planning requirements.
  • Occasionally visiting client sites to gather measurements for precise spatial planning.
  • Utilizing design software such as Sketchup, CET, and AutoCAD to produce floor plans and 3D visualizations.
  • Selecting and recommending office furnishings, materials, and finishes that resonate with the client's workplace ethos and financial plan.
  • Applying relevant discounts as necessary and devising solutions for client endorsement.
  • Timely updating quotes and making necessary adjustments to ensure project accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborating with the Operations and Purchasing teams to guarantee the correct execution and ordering of each project.
  • Contributing to various office responsibilities as part of the team.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Preferred educational background in Interior Design
  • Familiarity with Sketchup and AutoCAD is advantageous
  • Experience in spatial planning is a plus
  • Attention to detail is crucial for this role
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Professional demeanor is expected
