Medical Laboratory Technician I

LifeBridge Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician I to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician I, you will perform moderate and high complexity clinical laboratory tests in one or more of the following disciplines: Blood Bank, Microbiology, Manual Procedures, and Automated Procedures.
Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers and microscopes.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Participate in proficiency testing and continuing education to stay current with new technologies and techniques.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations and provide excellent patient care.
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Less than 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Must pass certification exam within 1 year of hire.
- MLT (ASCP or AMT) or MT (ASCP or AMT) or MLS (ASCP) certification.
