Medical Laboratory Technician I

LifeBridge Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician I to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician I, you will be responsible for performing moderate and high complexity clinical laboratory tests in one or more of the following disciplines: Blood Bank, Microbiology, Manual Procedures, and Automated Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers and microscopes.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with new technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Must pass certification exam within 1 year of hire.
  • MLT (ASCP or AMT) or MT (ASCP or AMT) or MLS (ASCP) certification.
