Job Summary

The Neonatal Critical Care Unit at OSF Healthcare is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to premature and high-risk infants, working closely with our neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced practice nursing services, including bedside invasive and non-invasive monitoring, conventional and high-frequency ventilation, and surgery in multiple specialties.
  • Manage premature and high-risk infants, including newborn resuscitation for all high-risk deliveries.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Participate in shared governance opportunities, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote quality patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Illinois.
  • Experience in neonatal critical care, with a focus on premature and high-risk infants.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
