Position Summary:
In this role, you will respond to assigned service requests in accordance with SERVPRO production standards. Daily communication with the Restoration Supervisor will ensure that all client requirements are fulfilled effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and load the work vehicle with necessary equipment, products, and supplies for each task.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment.
- Set up work areas, including staging equipment for each project.
- Collaborate with management and fellow technicians to optimize production processes.
- Extract water, set up restoration equipment, clean surfaces, and perform demolition as needed.
- Conduct end-of-day cleanup and ensure the job site is left in an orderly condition.
- Adhere to safety and risk management protocols while executing production tasks.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergencies.
- Travel to disaster-stricken areas during regional storm events may be required.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A collaborative spirit and a positive attitude.
- A strong work ethic and excellent verbal communication skills.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- IICRC certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in cleaning/restoration is beneficial.
- A background in carpet cleaning, construction, lawn care, pest control, or general labor is a good fit.
- The ability to pass a background check as per applicable laws.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Applicants should be able to:
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Work with cleaning products and be exposed to various environmental conditions.
- Stand, walk, drive, sit, and climb for extended periods.
- Work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, or under buildings.
- Perform repetitive tasks involving pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects.
