Surgical Technologist 2 - Full Time, Day or Evening

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist 2 to join the Operating Room team in a full-time capacity. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate and prepare the required instrumentation for each surgical procedure.
  • Expedite the operative procedure by anticipating the needs of the surgeon.
  • Maintain a sterile field and apply principles of asepsis.
  • Collaborate with the circulating nurse to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
  • 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Surgical Technologist registration required.
  • Must be eligible for Surgical Technologist registration via Commonwealth of Virginia at time of hire.
  • BLS via AHA required.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) preferred.
