Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join their team in Paeonian Springs, Virginia.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for administering sound patient care practices, completing ancillary tasks, and maintaining equipment and exam rooms in a neat and safe condition.

Responsibilities
  • Administer sound patient care practices, according to department and hospital policies/procedures, to ensure patient safety.
  • Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and employees.
  • Provide clinical services according to radiology practice standards and act as a resource to radiography students and other technologists.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
  • Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Must obtain CT Certification one year upon acceptance of the offer.
  • Prior experience preferred as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
