Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join our team at Baker Roofing Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing high-profile commercial projects within your region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals, making recommendations for changes as necessary.
  • Ensure warranties have been applied for, work permits, and job contracts are in place before any materials are released or work is performed on-site.
  • Coordinate work schedules with clients and subcontractors, informing the Superintendent of all changes in the schedule.
  • Maintain job site records, daily reports, delay requests, and weather reports as required.
  • Monitor job progress, providing input to assist with production reports and monitoring job costs.
  • Resolve problems and issues that may arise, including both technical and contractual matters.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in commercial roofing, with 2-3 years in a roofing company.
  • OSHA-30 certification, First Aid/CPR/Blood-borne pathogen training, and other specific equipment licenses or training as required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Scheduling.
  • Ability to manage several ongoing jobs and a passion for customer service and teamwork.
Physical Demands
  • Requires standing for long periods, climbing ladders, scaffolds, and stairways, and using abdominal and lower back muscles to support the body.
  • Requires seeing details at close range, repetitive movement, bending or twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawling.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing 50 pounds regularly.
Work Environment
  • Requires working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions, in very hot or very cold temperatures, and exposure to contaminants, hazardous materials, or equipment.
  • Mistakes are not easily correctable and have serious consequences, therefore safety procedures need to be followed.
