Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair electrical and control systems, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and network sub-systems.
- Train and coordinate the efforts of maintenance specialists on other shifts and assist in troubleshooting and documentation of root cause failure analyses.
- Work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Planner, and/or Maintenance Manager to ensure adherence to maintenance and production schedules.
- Perform electrical and mechanical inspections safely while equipment is in production.
- Complete assigned tasks in accordance with government codes and regulations, GMP, safety, quality control, company programs, and procedures.
- Maintain plant secondary systems for the supply of steam, hot and chilled water, pneumatic air, electrical power, refrigeration, HVAC, and emissions control.
- Maintain work records in accordance with work orders, backlog, and job assignment system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent high school/military and practical experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi software, and preventative maintenance software.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems design documentation and vendor-supplied documents.
- Working knowledge of control system projects, including machine layout, control drawings, P&ID, system interconnection drawings, and basic and advanced programming and configurations.
- Ability to perform basic and advanced math and convert units of measurement.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.
