About This Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department at our Regional Medical Center in Boise. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients and their families, while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of services and supplies provided to patients.
  • Comply with hospital safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform and document comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.
  • Educate patients based on assessment of needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating a plan of care.
  • Communicate patient status and plan of care to other caregivers.
  • Prepare, give, and evaluate the effectiveness of medications.
  • Demonstrate safe operation of patient care equipment.
  • Establish therapeutic and professional boundaries.
  • Integrate knowledge, experience, professional standards, and hospital policies into nursing practice.
  • Meet unit-specific technical skills.
  • Practice in accordance with rules and regulations defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
Requirements
  • A current RN license is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
  • Other certifications may be required as identified in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
