Position Overview:
The Senior Client Service Specialist for Commercial Risk collaborates closely with advisors, specialists across various lines of business, and dedicated client service teams to analyze client information, assess needs, and assist in developing effective risk management strategies aimed at achieving clients' financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare premium allocations.
2. Draft and update renewal proposals.
3. Prepare documentation for presenting risks to the market.
4. Create applications, summaries of insurance, and other coverage-related documents.
5. Support client service teams in preparing presentation materials.
6. Analyze and summarize complex data, compiling reports independently.
7. Enter data into relevant insurance company and firm software systems.
8. Process intricate audits and complete audit worksheets.
9. Review contract requirements for complex certification requests.
10. Conduct in-depth reviews of quotes.
11. Quote flood and builder's risk policies as requested.
12. Manage processed-based quoting for assigned accounts.
13. Oversee the renewal of bonds and flood policies.
14. Identify and follow up on binding subjectivities.
15. Mentor and train other analysts.
16. Complete special projects as assigned.
17. Seek opportunities for improvement within the firm and its processes.
18. Report issues and discrepancies to appropriate leadership.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in the insurance sector required; 3+ years preferred.
Licenses:
Must maintain all necessary licenses as mandated by the State Department of Insurance to provide services and risk transfer solutions in operational states or be willing to obtain required licenses within the first 90 days of employment.
Skills and Abilities:
1. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
2. Exceptional attention to detail.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic team environment.

Technical Skills:
