About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and driven individual to join our team as a life insurance agent with NYL Insurance Company - Acadiana Territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboard new clients and retain existing ones through various customer service tasks, including appointment booking and responding to inquiries.
  • Assist policyholders during the insurance claims process and oversee existing claims.
  • Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping to ensure all paperwork is up to date.
  • Expand our customer base and market our insurance products through networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies.
  • Determine new customers' insurance needs and provide the best client experience possible.
Requirements
  • Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries is preferred.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office.
  • Client service experience as a sales representative is a plus.
  • Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
