Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team at Sterling Engineering Inc. in Richmond, Indiana. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing work direction and supervision to production employees, ensuring compliance with work rules, union contract provisions, and employment policies.

About the Role
  • Schedule and assign work to production employees to meet daily production goals.
  • Supervise operations on the production floor in a unionized environment.
  • Maintain production goals while upholding GMP and safety requirements.

This role demands accountability in promoting safety, food safety, and quality standards. You will mentor and coach your team, fostering a productive work environment while meeting daily production goals.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food and/or beverage manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in team lead or supervisory roles.
