The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking undergraduate interns for a Loss Control Internship with various field locations/teams. Our successful candidates will gain a meaningful work experience with us for Summer 2025.

This role is based in the field, and locations may vary based on corporate needs and location(s) of interns.

  • Participate in an introductory insurance class(es)
  • Engage with different departments to understand our corporate structure
  • Interact with leadership and experienced associates
  • Contribute to the loss control group and individual projects
  • Participate in on-site risk evaluation/risk improvement services
  • Understand the loss control role within insurance and how we service our customers
  • Research, preparation, and development of technical reports
  • Complete loss trend analysis projects
  • Develop and deliver training resources

Be Equipped to:

  • Assist with business activities and processes
  • Participate and contribute to team meetings, presentations, and projects
  • Research emerging trends, data analysis, and evaluate options
  • Generate reports, promotional/educational materials, and other work products
  • Serve internal and external customers

Requirements:

  • Enrolled as a full-time, junior or senior status, at an accredited college/university
  • All majors are welcome to apply (may vary by role)
  • Collegiate transcripts required with submission of candidate profile (unofficial are acceptable)
  • In good academic standing (cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred)
  • Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week; Hybrid schedule eligible (may vary by role)
  • Have reliable transportation to get to/from the office and field sites; mileage reimbursement will be provided for field travel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and related software
