Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Supervise Payment Operations Units: Lead, coordinate, and supervise the performance of Payment Operations units to ensure high levels of risk controls, audits, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulatory requirements, and identify, evaluate, and monitor risks to earnings or capital arising from violations of laws, rules, regulations, or internal policies.
  • Operational Procedures: Review and modify operational procedures to strengthen controls and accommodate the processing environment, and ensure that departmental Operational Manuals are up-to-date.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert for Payment operating systems, applications, and technical matters.
  • Strategic Planning: Coordinate with Products/Marketing/Business units to execute Payments strategy, develop Payment Operations plans, and achieve results according to strategy and business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, define, and implement new operational services to support payment products, and improve existing services.
  • Fraud Prevention: Coordinate efforts with Fraud Prevention unit to control and reduce fraud losses.
  • ATM Services: Manage ATM Services, coordinate all ATM-related projects and incidents, and ensure that ATM inventory is replenished and distributed accordingly.
  • Wire Transfers: Oversee the overall processing of timely wire transfers and ensure compliance with established terms in contact.
  • Letters of Credit: Ensure all payments of Letters of Credit and Collection Items are credited to authorized accounts in a timely manner and in compliance with established terms in contact.
Requirements:
  • Education: College degree required; Master's degree in business administration or related field desirable.
  • Experience: 10 years in payment processing, with experience in Payment Business Development and Project Management.
  • Technical Skills: Bilingual preferred, advanced office equipment skills, and proficient in accounting balancing and reconciliations.
