Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely laboratory results to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, clinical chemistry, blood bank, serology, coagulation, urinalysis, and microbiology.
  • Conduct complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests and their results.
  • Receive and process specimens, and maintain accurate records of test results.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve instrument problems, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth operation of the laboratory.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist is preferred.
  • Registry or licensure in a specialty area is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
