Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team at Nesco Resource. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality products at our concrete plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to ensure efficient and effective plant operations
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet sales and inventory needs
  • Ensure proper maintenance of plant equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Order raw materials and supplies as needed to maintain inventory levels
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet customer expectations
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer complaints and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Perform routine mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
  • Prepare and submit production reports and other documentation as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or concrete plant setting
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and maintenance procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and dust. The successful candidate must be able to wear protective equipment and perform physical tasks as required.
