Job Opportunity

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Technician to join our team in the field of materials testing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing field tests on construction-related materials, including soils, concrete, grout/masonry, and asphalt.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and advanced field tests in accordance with industry standards, including ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, and DOT.
  • Document observations of construction and report results through our field data collection software.
  • Review and understand project-related drawings and specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with our project staff and construction team.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Associate degree required.
  • Three or more years of experience in construction testing of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials.
  • ACI Field Grade I Certification.
  • Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
  • NICET, DOT, and other applicable certifications will be considered beneficial in the role.
  • Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with our company's driving policy.
