About the Role

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of safety throughout the operation, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others at all times.
  • Repair and maintain electronic equipment, including service, repair, calibration, and testing of machines, devices, electrical systems, conductors, and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical wiring, appliance, fixture, and machinery problems, making corrections and striving to improve equipment reliability.
  • Inspect equipment, structures, and material, completing scheduled checks to detect malfunctions and unsafe conditions.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and other documentation to determine safe and effective installation procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in construction or industrial electrical work is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and electrical theory, with a focus on motor control (NEC, NESC, & MSHA).
  • Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate loud noises.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
