Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Gold's Gym in Venice. As a key member of our Pro Shop team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, meeting sales quotas, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Direct Customers: Provide best-in-class customer service, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Answer customers' questions about specific products and services, including features, pricing, and after-sales support.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products, facilitating purchasing decisions and driving sales growth.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the Pro Shop is fully stocked, according to company standards, and maintain a high level of store appearance and organization.
  • Customer Feedback: Provide regular feedback to the General Manager, Retail Sales Manager, and District Retail Manager on customer satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with new products, features, and services, and maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain a positive store environment, and support the overall success of the Pro Shop.
Requirements:
  • Proven Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Retail Sales Associate or similar role.
  • Product Knowledge: Understanding of the retail sales process, consumer behavior principles, and inventory stocking procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills, including handling cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and processing transactions.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and maintain a high level of availability to meet customer needs.
