Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Medical City Arlington. As an ER RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with our team of doctors and nurses to treat a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly access and prioritize incoming patients
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients
  • Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
  • Provide patient education and follow-up care instructions, making necessary referrals as needed

Requirements

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
