Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team in Arlington, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Level 1 Trauma Center. As an RN in our Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligibility to practice as an RN in the state.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting, preferably in the Emergency Department.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
