Overview
Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is a distinguished healthcare provider in the Southeastern United States, renowned for its excellent patient care and medical expertise. As a Vascular Access Specialist, you will be part of a team that places vascular access devices in patients across the entire AH Main campus, utilizing specialized skills to assess patients' veins and place the most appropriate device for optimal outcomes. This role requires collaboration with nurses from diverse backgrounds and experience levels who have undergone comprehensive onboarding training focused on competency with ultrasound and vascular access practices.

Job Summary
This position involves providing professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Essential duties include maintaining a safe work environment, performing all related job responsibilities in a safe manner, and upholding clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served. The salary range for this position is approximately $85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
