Job SummaryThe Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work closely with physicians to prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain accurate scans. With a strong emphasis on maintaining expertise matching the examination demographics of our hiring site, this role requires a minimum of three years of experience in sonography.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain accurate scans.
- Maintain expertise in sonography, ensuring it matches the examination demographics of our hiring site.
- Foster a safe patient environment driven by the principles of "First Do No Harm".
- Education: 2-year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Program or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in sonography, required.
- Licensure/Certification (required):
- Certified and registered by ARDMS in three specialties. Vascular Technology is a required specialty. Pediatric Sonography or Obstetrics and Gynecology is a required specialty. Breast Sonography is excluded from one of the three required.
- Vascular Technology - by ARRT in Vascular Sonography; RT(S)(VS) or RDMS, RT(VS) or, ARDMS in Vascular Technology; RDMS, RVT, VT or by CCI in Vascular Ultrasound; RT(S), RVS or RDMS, RVS.
- Pediatric Sonography - RDMS, PS or Obstetrics/Gynecology - RDMS, OB/GYN.
- Applicable state license.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, our benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
