Job Description

As an Electrical Systems Specialist at Tarkett, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, testing, installing, and repairing electrical parts, equipment, and systems. You will read and interpret work orders, safety rules, mechanical and electrical drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing prescribed Preventative Maintenance
  • Maintaining accurate and complete records, documenting all work performed appropriately
  • Assisting in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels to Supervisor
  • Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset to assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
  • Adhering to good housekeeping practices

Requirements include:

  • Ability to read and understand blue prints, schematics, and work instructions
  • Understanding failure mechanisms, ability to isolate determine root cause and repair
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Team oriented and detailed oriented
  • Minimum two years' of relevant experience and/or training that includes installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems equipment, HVAC maintenance, or any equivalent skills and abilities for this position
