Job Overview

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician at Tarkett, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and facilities. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, install, and repair electrical equipment, parts, and systems in an industrial environment.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete records of work performed, including daily repair logs and KPIs.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels to the supervisor.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilize a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to improve processes and adhere to good housekeeping practices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Minimum two years' of relevant experience and/or training that includes installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems equipment, HVAC maintenance, or any equivalent skills and abilities for this position.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and work instructions; understanding of failure mechanisms and ability to isolate and determine root cause and repair; problem-solving skills, team-oriented, and detail-oriented.
  • Certifications and Training: Ability to pass standardized maintenance aptitude test and pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
