Job Summary

Stryten Energy is expanding its operations and seeks a skilled Mold Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plastic injection molding equipment.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in mold maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Your expertise will enable you to identify and resolve issues related to tooling, machinery, and related equipment. In this role, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial tooling and plastic injection molding equipment
  • Analyze operational problems and develop effective solutions
  • Collaborate with the toolroom and production departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Operate various equipment, including lathes, drill presses, grinders, hand tools, and other associated machinery
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain plans to improve mold performance and overall manufacturing efficiency
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering) or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in mold maintenance, repair, or related field
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, mold construction, and maintenance practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated at $29.71 per hour, plus shift differentials of $1.50 per hour for second-shift work. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
