Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Aegis Worldwide. This role will be responsible for maintaining, processing, and monitoring payments and expenditures for our New Haven, IN and Lewisburg, TN divisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and match invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Key payments and journal entries into our SAP system
  • Verify vendor transactions and resolve any discrepancies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to vendors and internal staff
  • Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Perform other duties as required, including reception coverage and backup during vacation or leaves
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience in accounts payable or accounting-related position
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Office, and Excel
  • Introductory-level accounting courses are an asset
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline
  • 1-3 years experience with AP processes in a manufacturing environment
  • SAP experience is desirable
