KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate photographic content for the Liberty Champion and associated media.
  • Exhibit a keen eye for visual composition.
  • Delegate photo assignments to practicum and community service students.
  • Organize and manage images for easy retrieval.
  • Coordinate with administration to request photo shoots.
  • Uphold Liberty University policies, representing the institution with integrity.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member, supporting and promoting Liberty University's mission.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

The individual will oversee the work of students enrolled in DIGI 487 Field Projects and Practica, as well as community service volunteers. Collaboration with the creative editorial team, copy editors, and designers is essential to develop the final visual product.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

This position is typically suited for candidates with a background in journalism or photography, though other relevant experience may be considered. A strong ability to visualize the necessary imagery to narrate a story is essential.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
