Job Summary

The North America Market Channel Business Planning team works closely with channel sales leadership, product category teams, and internal support organizations to define, manage, and operationally execute business plans against strategic objectives. As a member of the team, you will engage with channel sales leaders to drive business execution excellence on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and manage the recurring business forecasting process, analyzing complex data to identify trends and track business performance.
  • Work closely with sales leaders to develop, execute, and evaluate the effectiveness of business plans, evaluate compensation plans, and define projects to increase operational efficiency.
  • Utilize data from various sources to objectively assess business performance relative to internal plans and the external market.
  • Provide ongoing business operational support, including ad-hoc projects, for one or more route-to-market sales leaders.
  • Engage with individuals within the channel sales team and across functions to gain a broad understanding of the complex business and provide insightful recommendations.
Requirements
  • Four-year or graduate degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically 4-7 years of work experience in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

  • Strong analytical thinking and data manipulation skills.
  • Extremely detail-oriented.
  • Self-starter.
  • Ability to learn quickly and draw conclusions from multiple data sources and disciplines.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Thoughtspot, DnA, PowerBI, and other BI tools and data sets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize findings visually.
  • Organization, planning, and project management skills.
  • Developed relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Independent judgment.
  • Working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
