Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team at Independent Software. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in protecting sensitive COMSEC materials. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the management of all COMSEC hardware and supervising the deployment and evaluation of new security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and account for all COMSEC equipment
  • Supervise the installation and testing of security devices
  • Ensure compliance with DoD 8570 standards

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in COMSEC operations
  • Minimum of 14 years in ISSE or ISSO roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • DoD 8570 compliance IASAE Level 2 certification

Security Clearance: Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with an appropriate Polygraph to be eligible for this position.
