We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our Community Wellness East team in a full-time capacity. As a Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing medical nutrition therapy to patients with diabetes and other conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop individualized nutrition care plans for patients with diabetes and other conditions
- Provide education and counseling to patients on healthy nutrition choices and disease management
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and community groups
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition and dietetics
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field from an ACEND-accredited program
- 1 year of supervised practice experience or 1 year of on-the-job experience
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification within 90 days of hire
- Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN) certification within 180 days of hire
