Job Overview

Vets Hired is seeking an experienced Engineering Planning Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our System Engineering & Planning department, you will be responsible for leading large technical projects and programs, developing and maintaining engineering standards, and mentoring direct reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead complex projects and programs, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Engineering Standards: Develop, evaluate, and maintain engineering standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and direction to direct reports, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with peers across departments to complete projects and achieve departmental goals.
  • Cost Control: Maintain cost control for assigned budgets and participate in developing departmental budgets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify efficiencies and new improvements, leading continuous improvement efforts.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge, attending conferences and sponsored events.
